The solution

Although Colston & Colston is a long established brand, recent social issues surrounding the name Edward Colston, and his association with the slave trade in Bristol, has presented an opportunity to rename the company as part of its repositioning in market.

The decision was made to develop Colston & Colston into a new brand CSquared, that better represents its future trajectory as well as maintaining a link to its past.

The brand retains its core colour, with an updated blue pantone and an extended supporting palette.

The website is built open source on WordPress with full admin rights for updating copy content and downloads. The SEO optimisation programme is linked to the central blogging engine that houses all new content.

A number of campaigns supported through press, digital advertising and email have firmly positioned CSquared in the hearts and minds of existing customers as well as emerging prospects.

The brand is associated with the companies multiplication of services and mergers which have continued to gather momentum.

Website organic traffic has increased by 240% and reflects the new UK regions which are being added to the CSquared portfolio.
