AgencyUK takes home another win at the Chip Shop Awards

Bath-based integrated advertising and marketing firm AgencyUK has won another Chip Shop award for its creative work on a poster ad for train ticket website thetrainline.com.

A celebration of creativity, the Chip Shop Awards are unusual as they allow for creatives to submit work for any brand they like – whether a client or not. The alternative awards include unusual categories such as, ‘best ad for something that does not need to be advertised’ and ‘best work for a brand you have not a hope of winning’.

AgencyUK’s creative team won recognition for their trainline poster ad as the ‘Best Ad without a visual’ for its play on the words ‘click it’.

Creative Director Zane Radcliffe said: ‘There is a saying that an agency is only as good as its client list, and the Chip Shop Awards plays to this by giving creatives the unique opportunity to cherry-picki the brands and briefs that really get the creative juices flowing. Importantly, it’s a level playing field where a student can compete with seasoned practitioner, and lesser-known agencies get a chance to make a real statement. Another win after our five nominations last year is a testament to the strength of our creative resource.’
