Crafting a digital identity for an innovative new pain-relief brand.
Combogesic offers a unique double action pain relief solution; a tablet combining paracetamol (or acetaminophen) and ibuprofen.
The first of its kind to ever be sold in Canada, Combogesic wanted to put their name out there and become the country’s go-to pain reliever. But as a new and emerging brand in an already overstocked market, they ran the risk of being overlooked entirely.
That was where we came in.

They wanted us to launch their brand on social and across digital media channels, reaching out to their target audience to turn Combogesic into a household name.
We were starting off with a blank slate, as Combogesic had very few brand assets to speak of. This meant we had to build a look and feel for this highly medical-focused product from the ground up.
We created content pillars that allowed us to develop a new social media style, one that would reach out to the target audience and effectively communicate the identity of the brand: what Combogesic was, why it was so effective, and why it had the potential to be Canada’s top pain-relief medication.
Using paid social and paid search ads we were able to grow awareness and engagement, educating the audience on the brand’s unique selling points and creating an average social ad reach of 59,596 across both Instagram and Facebook.
