Frome Falcons
Making light work of Frome Falcons’ new identity.
Frome Falcons are a powerchair football club for players of all ages and abilities, competing in the Wessex League and a member of the national Wheelchair Football Association.
As a registered charity, every penny the club raises goes straight back into coaching, facilities and the adapted powerchairs their players compete in, leaving them with little left to build their identity.
With small charities fighting harder than ever for a voice, that matters. So our job was to build a social media toolkit they could use all year round, and a team kit worthy of the football they play.
A kit designed by those who wear it.
The club doesn’t exist without its Falcons, so it was important they played a key part in building their identity.
So our creative team spent an afternoon on the pitch with the players, giving each one a light wand and filming as they moved – capturing the trails, the turns and the speed as they played.
Those light trails then became the design. We built three concepts from the photography and the players voted for their favourite, which they’ll now wear every matchday, each shirt finished with the players’ own initials.
Alongside this came a full social media toolkit – a year’s worth of templates and a comprehensive content guide which will help them promote the amazing work they do, engage with new sponsors to support the club, and keep the club consistently and confidently themselves all year round.
Now, we have a true community club with an identity that matches their impact, and one the players, parents and coaches can all be proud of.
“The social media assets are AWESOME! They are so much better than anything we could have created. I love how relevant and catchy they are.
Also the content guide is beyond helpful! As you know, it is something we have struggled with and I feel the guidance in the presentation will really help us to stay consistent next season with our content.
Please pass on thanks from the whole Falcons team to your team for their time and effort on this.”
