Perceptive

Relaunching 50 years of clinical research expertise in under two months.

With a combined 50-year history, Perceptive provides best-in-class specialist support to global pharmaceutical, biotech and clinical research organisations.

Working across the complete R&D lifecycle, from discovery and preclinical through clinical development to post-marketing, their services include imaging biomarkers, core lab services, randomisation and trial supply management (RTSM), analytics, software and more.

But for all their expertise, no one knew their name.

Because they hadn’t always been called Perceptive.

Accessibility-first design.

It wasn’t just a new look. Perceptive would launch as a single group with three distinct business units beneath it – eClinical, Discovery and Imaging – each needing an identity of its own while clearly laddering back to the wider brand.

We started with the existing guidelines and quickly found they weren’t ready. The colour palette chosen for the business units didn’t meet accessibility standards, so we rebuilt it, giving each unit a distinct, accessible identity that still worked as one brand.

Then came the build – and the scope was vast.

New brand guidelines and tone of voice, teaser assets, signage, brand awareness videos, a new website, organic social, email, paid search campaigns, full image library, Microsoft templates, business cards – even a PR article translated for a Chinese audience. All while rebuilding every Calyx document as Perceptive.

A true team effort.

Then, on 30 September, less than two months after the first brief, Perceptive went live.

The website launched, the campaigns started and the birth of Perceptive was broadcast to the world.

Every single person at AgencyUK played their part, with account management leading from the front, coordinating every department with daily, sometimes twice-daily check-ins, and daily calls with Perceptive’s teams stay aligned, up-to-date and ensure every stage moved smoothly.
